‘ The School of Flight ‘ provides aviation theory training, practice and sample exams for professional and recreational aviators. ‘The School of Flight’ delivers its products via the internet as online learning programs and via purpose built mobile computing applications (apps).

Our aim is to be the #1 provider of aviation theory training throughout Australia by offering programs with the best learning outcomes across a broad range of aviation activities. We intend to be the ‘One Stop Shop’ for aviation theory and aviation industry compliance training in Australia.

The School of Flight’s Director, Steve Griffin is an accomplished aviator who has more than 30 years experience in the aviation industry. He is a pilot, Chief Flying Instructor and CASA Approved Testing Officer and holds or has held ratings in Aeroplanes, Balloons, Ultralights and Gliders. He has headed a tourism based air charter operation for almost 20 years and a Certificate of Approval (Approved Aircraft Maintenance Facility)  for more than 15 years. He has held 15 aviation world records in a variety of aircraft classes, many of these records were set in aircraft that he designed and built himself. He has also been awarded the prestigious Henri Mignet Diploma for innovative aircraft design and the Montgolfier Diploma for exceptional performance in Aerostation by the Federation Aeronautique Internationale (FAI).
